I will tell you about both the colleges,...Both the college have beautiful Campus. DSCE= SRM

Academics : SRM >> DSCE

NIRF ranking : SRM - 41; DSCE - 126 (may also be because of DSATM and DSU stats combined, I'm not sure)

Placements : SRM has huge number of students and median packages may be lower because of IT offers which are majority. Both have good opportunities in placements in IT companies. But in core companies SRM have better opportunities than DSCE.

Peer: This one is pretty straightforward SRM > DSCE.

Legacy : DSCE(1960s) > SRM(1985)

If you're getting CSE in both then I suggest you go for SRM.
