Your board marks are only to fullfill the eligibility criteria to apply for NEET. Henceforth, the college that you get will solely depend on your NEET rank and score.

As for scholarships, they too are mostly based on your neet ranks although there are some institutions which may provide you scholarships for your board results too.

If you want good medical college focus on neet

If you want good medical college and scholarship  focus on neet and board.

Dear sridarshini
For eligibility to exam your theory marks matters but as far as ranking is considered they will purely see your neet marks, for scholarships if you get seat through neet many foundations and NGOs provide scholarships
All the best

hi

for getting scholarship, your NEET marks matter the most. they entitle you for such programs if you are amongst the top rankers. however i would advise that your board marks are also important. atleast 75 percent you should score in your boards.

goodluck

For getting admission to medical college for a mbbs seat or any medical seat, you need to clear neet ug exam with good marks and rank..
Also for giving neet ug exam you have have minimum aggregate percentage in class 12th as mentioned in official notification of neet ug released by cbse..
For more info visit http://www.cbseneet.gov.in

Scholarships are provided by individual state level , national level by pmo , and various other organisations depending upon the criteria which they follow.. for exanple state govt. and pmo follow , yearly income of parents, which must be below the given maximum income

Good luck..

Boards marks are important only for becoming eligible for NEET. You need an aggregate of 50% in 12th to become eligible (general category) or 40% for SC, ST or OBC category.
But merit is strictly NEET based.
A score of around 550 is good for all India 15% quota to get a seat in college anywhere in India.
A score of around 500 is good for getting a seat in state quota.
Please note that these cutoff scores are an average all over India over past years. Actual cutoffs vary with each state and college.
All the best.

As per your query i would like to tell you state board marks are not counted in NEET, State board marks is a only eligibility criteria for appearing in NEET.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEET
The candidate of unreserved category must have passed in all the subjecs and must have obtained a minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. For reserved categories it is 40%.

But NEET score is the ultimate deciding  factor of rank. Based upon your rank, you'll be allotted to one of the medical/dental colleges. So prepare well for NEET. Try to score 550+. Then you'll definitely get a good medical college.

All the best !

To get admission in any medical college for MBBS and BDS courses, you need to qualify NEET. Your NEET score decides your merit. Your board exam scores do not have any role in determining your merit. However, to be eligible for writing NEET, you must pass in physics, chemistry and biology in board examinations.
