Hello,

Usually for MA International Relations, its eligibility criteria is passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% or above aggregate (depending upon the norms of the university). You can definitely pursue this course with economics or law background, although political science background maybe perhaps be more suited in this case.

Some of the best colleges offering MA International Relations are as follows:

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi
  • Pondicherry University, Pondicherry
  • Jadavpur University, Kolkata
  • University of Madras, Chennai

In majority of cases, admission is done through entrance exams, a few may take admission based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
