Hello,

Here i suggest some of the books besides NCERT that you can prefer and they will help you in scoring good in neet. As neet is one of the competitive exams which requires utter practice and clear concepts the aspirants should try to gather as much information as possible so besides NCERT go through some other books too.

Physics:

  • Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma

Chemistry:

  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon

Biology:

  • Biology Vol 1 and Vol 2 by Trueman

  • Objective Biology by Dinesh

These are some of the books that will help you with your studies and preparation.

Here is the link which suggests some more books which you can refer and clear your concepts:

Hello dear student!

NEET is a national level examination for admission in various medical colleges of India. It is no joke and there are number of students who appear in the examination and compete for the medical seats which are very limited.

There are basically three subjects whose questions are asked the the paper- Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Biology is quite theoretical so NCERT books of class 11th and 12th are almost enough for NEET if being revised thoroughly and are on tips.

For chemistry, NCERT is enough for inorganic chemistry and also Organic chemistry up to a point. But for physical chemistry you need to practice from other books also.

For physics , NCERT is not at all enough. Though you have to practice it's questions but I highly recommend you to prefer any other reference books for more clarity of concepts for physics such as HC Verma, Pradeep publications, etc. You should practice more and more questions from the reference books.

Also, you can buy arihant handbooks for NEET of all the three subjects, these are quite helpful.

Hope this helps

Hello

Your main focus should be on ncert as in neet most of the questions are directly based on the concepts from ncert , but yes you need to follow some other books as well in addition to ncert.

Some of the best books for neet examination which you can follow are listed below Subjectwise :-

PHYSICS :-

HC verma
Objective Physics for neet By DC Pandey

Concepts of Physics by H.C. Verma is one of the most popular books for physics for the preparation of entrance exams, it provides you solved and unsolved problems for practice and it is one of the best books to clear all your concepts through practising numericals . DC Pandey, on the other hand, prepares you for objective questions asked in neet.

CHEMISTRY :-

NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII
Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon
Practise books by VK Jaiswal (Inorganic), MS Chauhan (Organic)

BIOLOGY :-

NCERT Biology Class XI and Class XII
Trueman's biology
NCERT at your fingertips by mtg

You should practise numericals and mcqs , go through past 39 year chapterwise papers of neet aipmt book for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology by arihant and once you are done with the complete neet syllabus go through mock test papers.

All the best for your neet preparation.

Thankyou
