CAT exam is the entrance exam for post graduate management course for all IIMs and other institutes in India.

The three section in the exam are as follows :

1. VARC - This tests your reading comprehension skills, grammer, cloze test, vocabulary, jumbled passeges, verbal reasoning etc

2. LRDI - The topics covered are tables, graphs, caselets, cubes, number and letter series, seating arrangement, matrix etc

3. QA - This is the maths section which has topics from what is learned during school. The topixs covered are percentage, profit and loss, interest, ratios, geometry, menauration, trignometry, algebra etc.
