You can do Private Pilot license (PPL) course to become a pilot.

Private Pilot Licence is a certificate program of six to eight months. This certificate course is offered by various aviation institutes like Banasthali Vidyapith Gliding and Flying Club, Academy of Carver Aviation Private Limited, Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics Limited and more.

The basic eligibility criteria required to pursue this course is to have a qualifying 10th degree from any recognized university and an aspirant should not age less than 17 years.

Admission is generally offered on the basis of merit in most of the colleges, followed by an aptitude and a medical test as well.  The average annual fees required to study this course ranges from INR 3 to 12 lakhs.
