Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College
The college was established in 1983 as a private institute. Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Mission University, the college is AICTE and NAAC approved with A grade. In 2019, the Outlook India in association with Drshti Strategic Research Services has ranked the institute at the 48th position under the Indias best engineering colleges.

In the previous year, Nearly 100+ companies visit JNEC to select candidates for the required positions in the respective companies. Out of which, there are some top brands that visit JNEC for the placements, to name a few, Lupin Ltd, Flipkart, Byjus Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. Wipro Elite Reliance Jio etc. were amongst the top brands that visited JNEC for the placements.

So far, the highest package bagged by JNEC is INR 10 Lakhs per annum. Placement records of 2018-19 shows that the highest package offered is INR 6.5 Lakhs per annum and the least package is INR 1.44 Lakhs per annum.
