Getting CSE/IT in top NITs might be tough, but you can expect branches like ECE, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical in some NITs/IIITs depending on your homestate quota. Also, state-level government colleges under SC reservation can be a good option. My suggestion is to keep multiple branch preferences open and don’t stick to just one. This will improve your chances of securing a seat in round 2.
