The Government College Of Pharmacy, Karad was established in the year 1964 by the government of Maharashtra with an aim to provide technical education in the rural areas. The college is one of the first government colleges in Maharashtra and is spread across an area of 8 acres. The college offers various courses related to pharmacy which are B.Pharm, D.Pharm & M.Pharm. Affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur, the college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai

The fees for B. Pharma is INR 26000 per annum.
