Your rank is fine but the branch you wish to have is really very very difficult to seek admission into a college of your choice. But still you can give a try and give your luck a try. May be there is a possibility that you can get the college but civil branch is a bit not possible enough.

According to the previous year, the cutoff of University Departments of Anna University - CEG, Chennai was

OC: 64.667

BC: 58.333

SC: 51

ST: 40

So I guess you will get through the cutoff
