Haryana Government did increase the fees in Government Medical Colleges. And it has also proposed to enhance fee for MBBS fees in Private Medical Colleges by 2 lakhs from 10 lakhs per annum to 12 lakhs per annum. This is an annual increase of 7.5% thereby bringing the College fees as 53.68 lakhs for the entire duration of the course. The security deposit will remain at 2 lakhs and hostel feel will not go beyond Rs.75000 per year. No additional fees on Library fees, Sports, Medical Charges and Internet charges. For Government Medical Colleges, the State Government of Haryana made an annual bond of Rs.10 lakh compulsory. The student either has to pay the entire bond himself or will have to opt for educational loan which the Govt. will facilitate. The fees in GMCs is now Rs.80,000 per annum with 10% increase every year and that will be a total amount of Rs. 3.71 lakhs for the entire duration of the course.
