Yes, it is not a rare situation when a student fails in B.Tech, even in the first year of college.

However, it is not anything to worry about or to get disappointed or disheartened, because one gets chances to clear his/her backlogs till the fourth year of College.

Failure in one year or semester does not mean that you cannot proceed further. Study hard and give your best shot. The examination will get cleared.
