Hi aspirant,

JoSAA and CSAB are entirely different from each other. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) allocates seat based on both CRL rank and category rank, whichever is applicable. On the other hand, Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) does allocation of seat based on CRL rank only. JoSAA is conducted normally whereas CSAB is conducted for filling the vacant seat left after JoSAA counselling. CSAB is usually conducted in two rounds but JoSAA is conducted usually in seven rounds. Though this year JoSAA would be conducted in six rounds only. In order to make your choice preference it would be better for you to predict your college based on your rank. You can predict your college and branch options by using the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope it helps you.
