National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) is an all India entrance exam for medical and allied courses. It is conducted by NTA.

The pattern of the exam is:

180 objective type questions from PHYSICS , CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY. The duration is 3 hours. 

The subject wise question distribution is:

Physics 45

Chemistry 45

Biology 90

Total marks is 720. Each question carries 4 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 4 marks. For each incorrect response one mark will be deducted from the total score. 

Syllabus: Physics, Chemistry and Biology topics of Class 11 and Class 12.

Material: You must follow NCERT textbooks. You have to practice as many questions as you can, for which various objective type books are available in the market. I would recommend MTG and TRUEMAN for objective type questions. Regarding the theory part, NCERT is suffice but if you can, get help from various reference books and coaching materials. The key to crack such entrances is practic.
