You could try for your home quota , generally people get decent branch on 16k rank in the nit of their region. For rest all nit's there is
slightly less chance of getting good field.
The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) special round is for admission of all JEE Main 2019 qualified candidates in left over seats of NITs,IIITs and SFTIs after the initial rounds of counselling.

So there are little chances of getting seat in the nit because they will allocate only the left over seats . In South side NITs it's difficult. You have very little chance in North side
