Hello Aspirant!
Hope you are doing well
You have secured an AIR of 254101 in the joint Entrance Examination(Mains) and belong to St category. Hence you can definitely opt for taking admissions in the north-eastern nits like nit sikkim, nit silchar, etc for getting top branches like cse and the core branches. Also you can opt for taking admissions in the top nits like nit rourkela, nit Surat, etc for getting low branches like mettalurgy, biotech, etc. For knowing further about which colleges you can get, you can use the JEE Mains College Predictor.

Dear Rahul,
So first of all it depends on which branch yyou want and which nit you want. If you have your Telangana Resident proof then you are eligible for HS(Home State) quota in NIT Warangal, Telangana. But according to your rank I don't think you are eligible for any known NIT and I would suggest rather pursuing B.Tech from any other NIT which is not recognised you should try for some other exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, KIITEE, Amity JEE, and the list goes on and on. Also you can drop this year and prepare for next year's JEE MAINS with proper preparations you can also clear JEE ADVANCED. So why settle for NIT when you can achieve IIT. Also you have category reservation which will give you an advantage. So, best of luck I hope the best for you.
