They will be three rounds of counselling at the all India level, the first round and the mop up round
first state counselling there is usually of a strong followed by second round and then the offline mop up round for which the list will be declared separately on the state websites of health universities respectively
we were talking about the counselling at the all India level for the all India quota seats you will need to fill up your choices in order of preference knowing that if you accept the seat at one medical college with one discipline and get admitted over there you will have to pay compensation of money of 3 to 5 lacs in order to forfeit that's it and try to reappear again for the examination next year and there is no way you can exchange seats after you have accepted it by going to the institution allotted to you for the admission process within 2 days of your allotment
The online procedure which will occur on the website www.mcc.nic.in will guide you through the choice fill up and publication of result procedure and in case you are not allotted any seat all the colleges you have chosen you will be also notified regarding that status and especially in the list of students allotted the different sheets in the seat matrix which they would publish on the website
overall the procedure is very simple and just needs a pair of common sense and I would just like you to list down on a sheet of paper the colleges and streams you would want to avail so that you do not include any unnecessary options during the choice fill up which woodland you open a messy situation where you are allotted to college which you would not preferred and would be in a dilemma weather to pursue career against your choice or to accept your fate due to a misconception
hope this clarifies most of your doubts and you are most welcome to ask any further if required
