Hi Akshay,

The competition has become tougher this year compared to last year. An approximation of 3 to 4 students would be competing for a single government seat this year. This makes the probability of you getting a seat through government quota very thin. But you can ofcourse you can try for private colleges through management quota, as not many can afford to pay 10 - 13 lakhs per annum. There are 10 Deemed Medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. DME is having a seperate selection process for the NRI/Management quota this year, the applications of which are already open.

All The Best.
