You can't change your name without any valid reason.

Just because you don't like it or it is difficult to pronounce,  is not acceptable reason.

You are in the first year of mbbs , firstly it is difficult now to change , also if You will change your name You will have to change name in aadhar card , ration card , pan card etc .

Anyways there is a way. When people change their caste or there is spelling mistake in name , a gazzette certificate is made . The government officers or bond writers do this work.

Your name will be changed in citizens list but a valid reason must be given . In future You will have to present a gazztte certificate as a proof of name .
