you have to follow the syllabus and prepare them as you will remember the concept and understand what is happening.  the many questions you solve you will more acquainted with the process and you will know how to solve it more swiftly with accuracy. It depends on you how you will make your planning to cover topics.

In the syllabus, there will be the names for the books to refer.  You can follow them and ask your doubts to any person you know who can help you get the concepts. If there is no on then browse in google and there you will surely someone explaining it with details and examples.

To make the work easier, you can even make flowcharts and drawings to remember concepts. This is will make your cover chapters fast.
