In India, scope in Physics is mainly limited to the Public or Private Research Sector. Incase you want to pursue a Career in Industry , you may plan a Masters/Doctoral Degree from US amd Other Top Countries for better career scope and opportunities.

In India, after Engineering Physics/BS/B.Sc in Physics, you may pursue Masters from some of the Top IITs, IISER or IISc Bangalore followed by a career in Professional Research or Academia. Many PSUs and Public Research Organizations like ISRO, DRDO, BARC, CSIR recruit Physicists.

Hey,

BSC physics is a three year undergraduate course offered by different universities or institutions. The course basically comprises of different subjects like,

Mathematics

Mechanics,

Chemistry,

Computer programming,

Digital electronics,

Physics itself.

It prepares you for both industries as well as research field if one wants to pursue his or her career in the desired field. The scope of physics honours is excellent as the course curriculum along with the subjects taught make you diverse in the field of science.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hello,

BSC physics and engineering physics is a huge difference dear.

BSC physics mainly a Science graduation stream. You can join this. You only study all kind of physics here with others two sub subjects like chemistry and mathematics. Physics is divided into two parts in BSC, one is statistical physics and another one is solid state physics. It's only 3 years degree course.

Now come to the engineering physics. In engineering you don't have to study physics as a particular subject. You have just clear knowledge about physics which you are already studied in your 11th and 12th class. Like disciplinary physics, electronic, particularly computer etc.

So if you want to go in BSC physics then you can do masters in physics and after that you can be a researcher or professor or teacher. But if you go for engineering physics then you can get IT companies job or can be a researcher. Now this decision is totally yours.

All the best.
