hello sir/mam, to persue m.sc in statistics from IITs, what should be the range of rank in iit -jam?(and also the range of marks)
Answer (1)
Hello,
M.Sc in Statistics is offered in IIT, Kanpur and the admission is based on merit in IIT JAM. In 2020 round 3 the cut off rank was as follows category-wise
- General:47
- EWS: 104
- OBC: 226
- SC: 644
- ST:1569
- General PWD: 1367
Considering the cut off you need to score minimum 35-40 marks if you belong to ST/PWD category and 60-80 marks if you belong to general/EWS/OBC/SC category. This is an estimation based on previous year data. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.
