Hello,

M.Sc in Statistics is offered in IIT, Kanpur and the admission is based on merit in IIT JAM. In 2020 round 3 the cut off rank was as follows category-wise

  • General:47
  • EWS: 104
  • OBC: 226
  • SC: 644
  • ST:1569
  • General PWD: 1367

Considering the cut off you need to score minimum 35-40 marks if you belong to ST/PWD category and 60-80 marks if you belong to general/EWS/OBC/SC category. This is an estimation based on previous year data. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.
