With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores. You could get good colleges and your desired branch. You have got 79 percentile in JEE main but you can't able to get admission in nit Trichy even if you belong to OBC category because you have got very poor marks in JEE mains and you need to improve your rank. You can't able to get admission in any government colleges with this percentile.
