Brother CS and IT both have nearly same opportunities in placement areas and about 95 prcnt of the course is same in both the branches. As well in almost all colleges students of both branches sit together in placements and are treated equally!

No, CSE is Computer Science Engineering and IT is Information Technology. They both are almost similar but they have a slight difference. CSE is responsible for the studies for computer hardware and software both while IT deals with software only. The job opportunities are also kind of similar. You can either choose CSE or IT.
