The profile of software dvelopment engineer is related wiith the work of web developing, machine learning, android developing , however some part of elecetrical knowledge can be used while working in some projects of electrical company. The  eee fields profile are basically includes instrumentation ,broadcasting which uses cse knowledge at low level .I would advise you to go for sde profile as their you will get many opportunities comparetively
