the placements in btech will completely depend on your technical knowledge you have and the soft skills you posses . the btech percentage plays an important role in making you eligible to be getting an interview call thats all . what ever your inter percentage is , it will not be considered in giving you an interview oppertunuty .

I woildwould like to tell you that you really dont need to worry. Yes there are certain companies which require you to have a 50% + in your 12th boards. But there are also a number of companies which require 50%. If you have a good cgpa and sgpa in your semesters you will get a on campus placement easily.
