If you get 200+ in jee mains.,  you may get an admission in nit for sure.,
But the college addmission depends on rank and the marks vs rank may change based on the paper standard,  so on average i.e according to previous statistics,  you will get admission in top nits, and if  u compromise a but in branch then you can get admission in nits like tirchi, warangal, surathkal, rourkela.
Rourkela is easy for home state people because the competition is less in home state quota.
You  have a chance to  get admission in IIITB for integrated CSE/ECE.
These are just approximations,.

So finally it is clear with rank rather than marks,
