No, you cannot change your category from General-EWS to General category at the time of counselling. All the details given by you while filling the application form is considered to be true. If you have any corrections to make you are allowed to do that during the correction period. Now the correction period already passed. But you can change your category while filling the state wise counselling form as you each state conducts their own counselling.
