Hello,

Working hard is a prerequisite if you want to crack the IAS exam. You have to dedicate maximum time to your preparation but yes most important thing is you need to focus on quality of time rather than focusing on quantity of time.  IAS officers are not made in a day. It takes a load full of perseverance, determination and will power to reach the height of a civil servant. And as you know the syllabus is also very vast. Only Studying will not be helpful, you must take out time for Revisions of previously studied topics as Revision is must. To retain the massive amount of information that you stuff into your head daily, you must revise. There is no substitute to it.

Make sure to plan and maintain a daily regimen where you allocate time for your studies and adequate leisure. Make study plans as tackling the vast UPSC syllabus requires meticulous planning and adhering to it.

All the best !!
