I want open a medical shop but I am a commerce student

Hello,

As you are a Commerce student you can't do pharmacy as it demands Science stream students, but still you can open a Medical store and hire a chemist as storekeeper.

Proof of ownership of the premises . Proof of business constitution and registration. Affidavit of non-conviction of proprietor or partners or directors under the Drug and Cosmetics Act, 1940. Affidavit of a registered pharmacist or a person equally competent who will be working for full time.

Area: The minimum area of 10 square meters is required to start a medical shop or pharmacy or wholesale outlet. In case, the pharmacy business combines retail and wholesale, a minimum of 15 square meters is required . Storage Facility: The store must have a refrigerator & air conditioner in the premises.
