yes you can surely take up BSC IN GEOLOGY

as your 12th marks are quite high and is above the eligibility criteria.

IT is good subject with scope, but it has lots of field work and travel. One needs to make mind for that. It has good career opening but only after post-graduation.

B.Sc. Geology is a 3 years long undergraduate level Bachelor of Science Degree course. This course can be pursued after completing 12th standard (Science stream).

B.Sc. Geology is an undergraduate level Bachelor of Science Degree course. Numerous private and Government institutes across India offer this course. This professional course can be pursued by aspirants to become a qualified Geologist.

Eligibility criteria: 10+2 passed with Science stream subjects from a recognized board. Minimum aggregate marks required in main Science subjects (PCM/B) is around 55% marks.

Geology is one of the field with minimal compitition and huge demand.Some good colleges/University are:

Delhi University: Hans Raj College, New Delhi

Banaras Hindu University

Jadavpur University

Ranchi University:St. Xavier college, Ranchi

University of madras

You can apply to these colleges and if you qualify the cut off you will get it.

There are several state level colleges if you wish you can check that also.
