However, you still have fair chances in several mid and lower-tier NLUs, depending on the year’s cut-offs, seat availability, and category (if any).

At this rank, you may have a reasonable chance in NLUs such as NLU Odisha (Cuttack), NLU Assam (Guwahati), NLU Patiala (RGNUL), NLU Ranchi (JHARKHAND), NLU Visakhapatnam (DSNLU), and NLU Tripura. In some counselling rounds, especially later ones, seats may also open up in NLU Raipur, NLU Shimla, or NLU Aurangabad, depending on withdrawals.

If you have any domicile reservation, women reservation, or other category benefits, your chances can improve further, especially in state-specific NLUs. It is also advisable to fill as many preferences as possible during counselling, including all mid and newer NLUs, to maximise your chances of allotment.
