Adhaar based biometric attendance system for the staff and students of all the colleges of JNTUH (Constituent colleges and Affiliated Colleges) was proposed to implement in 2016 in a meeting with Vice chancellors with Hon'ble Chief Minister and Minister for education. A committee was constituted for implementation of BAS and the committee interacted with several agencies and discussed about the requirement and process of implementation of BAS.
