Faculty members are very helpful to students.

The college has placement cell and placements are different for different courses. Many Companies visit the campus.

Jss arts science and commerce college -

The faculty here are extremely co-operative  and good subject knowledge.

Placement Cell is there in the college. Median salary package is 1.80 lakhs and varies with different courses.

Philomena college -

Faculty- Most of them are PhD holders and they are friendly,and many research programs are carried out by them.

Placement- Placement cell is there and the companies that visit the campus are infosys, HP, TCS ,IBM etc.

JSS College of Arts and Commerce is quite good in it's infrastructure and placements when compare to that of the Yuvarajas College University, Mysore.

Both Colleges has nearly the same infrastructure but the former is slightly bigger than the latter. It has huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, hostels, etc,. St. Philomena College, Puttur, as has the same amenities and also added with gym.

The total fee structure in YCU is Rs. 64950 ( 3 years) and in JSS is Rs. 70000.

The placement is also equal with the median salary in JSS being Rs. 3.0 lakhs/year and the highest salary is Rs. 15.15 lakhs/year. The median salary in YCU is Rs. 2.25 lakhs/year and the highest salary is Rs. 4.0 lakhs/year. The median salary in St. Philomena to is Rs. 3.0 lakhs/year. All of three colleges are rated 3.5 out of 5 for placements by the on-studying students of those Colleges.
