There is not any eligibility criteria for JEE Mains to give but yaah inorder to enter in NIT'S or IIT'S you should have atleast 75% in Class 12th but if want to enter in private engineering colleges then no need to worry about that just focus more on JEE Mains that will be faar better.

Hi Ravi.

Greetings.

Yes, you are eligible for JEE main examination. But since IITs, NITs and other top engineering colleges have 75% marks in board exams as their criteria, you can not get admission in IITs and NITs and you may face some trouble in getting admission in other good colleges. But, you can give JEE main examination upto your 3rd attempt.
