With the rank you have scored you may not get admission in the NLUs.If you were from any of the reserved categories then your chances of admission were still there.You should apply for the other private colleges and government colleges in UP.These year the CLAT cutoffs are expected to be higher than past year so the competition among the general category candidates would be quite tough.

The cut-off for this year is not out yet by the NLUs but the approximate cut-offs have been predicted based on previous years' cut-off trends.

I'm sorry to inform you that with this rank, you might not have chances of admission into any of the NLUs because if you see the previous year's data then the closing rank was 1588 among all the NLUs which was in MNLU Aurangabad.

The cut-off is not expected to go beyond 1600 rank, you came close but you did not quite get it. I suggest you should look into the private colleges or even some other law universities where you will be able to get admission easily.
