Well, admissions in GITAM University take place by the rank you get and the marks you score to determine your rank. There may be slight variation in the rank you get depending upon various factors, one of them being the number of applicants.

You have got a good chance to get a seat at GITAM University with 87 percentile.

I would suggest that scoring anywhere above 70 should be more than enough to get your desired seat in a particular campus. Scoring anywhere above 50 will be sufficient to get you an admission in branches other than CSE (to be safe I am saying 50 because of the competition this year).
