Since your percentile is 79 that is your rank will be approximately 1,90,000.so I think that you will not able to qualify for jee advance . Since you are from general  category so you will not get NITs through jee mains. Also with this score you will not get any government colleges.  I will suggest you to go for private colleges that do not give admission on the basis of jee mains such as SRM Institute of Technology,  Amity university ,  LPU, etc. You can also drop for one year if you wish to do so and and really and get only in a government colleges.

The expected cutoff of JEE MAINS is around 85 percentile. So, it would be very difficult for you to qualify JEE Mains. You can get admission in state government Colleges who take admission either through JEE Mains ( eg. BIT SINDRI ) or by their own exams ( eg. Jadavpur University ).
