As you said your SC rank is 7800  which may not be possible for NITs but you can apply for IIITs.

You have a chance there and every college keeps reservation as per Category also.

It would be better look into your nearby IIIT college there you can get on with state quota also.

use the above link to get the list of colleges as per your rank.

Along with above options of IIITs you should give options of GFITs for security. If you are not selected at IIIT then you can go for Government colleges available in your domicile.

Any decision you take keep one secure option where you have 100% chance to get an admission.
