First of all at the end of this question you told about IIT but it gives admission via JEE advance.

Now coming to your NIT seat. Congratulations you have a good rank in obc section. If you really apply for counselling you will get a good NIT or if the competition is more you will atleast get a IIIT.

So my suggestion is to apply for a counselling and there are more chances for you getting an NIT seat.
