Dear Lovely...

Since you are bsc in mathematics, doing MBA would definitely be a complete change your stream, it would be a great option for you if you want to be in corporate jobs and it would add versatility to your resume, also to get into MBA you need to crack various exams like CAT, CMAT, MAT ,XAT ,NMAT SNAP and through which you can get into India's top ranked B Schools and give your career a height.

Hope it helps!

Hi,

MBA is a very popular choice among graduates of all streams. It is a gateway to a career in the corporates sector as well as increases your employability in the same. You are also eligible for government jobs or higher studies should the case be.

In order to get through a good Bschool, you need to crack National level exams such as CAT, SNAP, XAT, MAT which are usually held between November to January ( Dates may vary). These exams are highly competitive and test your Quantitative ability, Verbal and nonverbal reasoning ; hence you need to be thoroughly prepared. If you meet the desired cut-off, you get called by respective colleges for their interview process.

Since you have a mathematical background, you can go for an MBA in Operations, IT, Systems management, Finance but then its always better to decide about specializations only after considering opportunities in various fields, eligibility, suitability.

Hope it helps!

Good Luck!

MBA is definitely a great option considering its demand and employability in the Job market if you have decided to get into businsses and organizations specificallyYour background will not matter as much since students of various backgrounds compete for MBA seatswhat is more important is your hard work and determina towards it. Choose a specialisation only after good introspection. Subjects like finance, economics, accounts, operations require decent levels of numerical ability and have tremendous scope for the future!Hope this answers your query
