There's always a risk to seek admission in a college which is yet to have a batch in engineering field. One doesn't know about any sort of environment, placements, faculties and overall aspects for such colleges.  But when it comes to a brand name such as IIIT, you can give it a risky shot for it. Since IIITs have good competitiveness and quality of students, placements isn't really an issue. Plus, CSE branch gives you an advantage over other branches as it is the most popular among the candidates and recruiters on any day. So if you're willing to take this opportunity, do it with the utmost confidence. Otherwise, you do have many other colleges to apply/wait for. Good luck.
