Yes it is possible for students to migrate from DU regular to DU SOL but it depends on the college you are in. There are many factors, whether your college allows migration or not, the subject you want might not be available. Getting migration certificate on time can be a hassle since the process is very slow and you might face delays since they ask for your final marksheet as well.

Ask your seniors since these matters can get very internal, keep your grades better than the rest so that they consider your migration request easily.
