Admission to the five-year integrated law programmes at GNLU Gandhinagar is based on CLAT. Candidates who want to enrol in the GNLU Gandhinagar L.L.M. programme must take the CLAT PG exam. Admission to the M.B.A. in Financial Management and Business Law programme at Gujarat National Law University is granted based on performance on the CAT/MAT/CMAT, and is then followed by a legal aptitude test, a group discussion, and a personal interview. Candidates who want to apply for a Ph.D. programme must first take an entrance exam, then they must attend an  interview.
