1. Solve "gate previous year questions" book (by made easy preferably as it is "almost" error free and have questions from year 1991 onward) of each chapter as soon as you finish chapter from book/notes.Even if you are not getting the question and answer initially just learn it,you will definitely understand it with more practice later on.For newly added subjects you may refer to previous year questions of IES. 2. Mere learning previous year questions will fetch you 35-40 marks. 3. Make a formula notebook and note all formulas of your course in it (approx 2000-2500 formulas) revise it periodically.When 2 months left for gate, revise it daily. This will land you in 55-60 marks zone coupled with above mentioned steps. 4. All above 4 steps should be executed together in a parallel manner. 5. In last 1-1.5 month, leave everything going in this world which is not related to gate,make books/notes your sleeping partner, breakfast partner , dinner partner. Remember in order to achieve exceptional things you have to work hard exceptionally. 6. Join a good test series, give 5-10 mocks at interval of 5 days each and try to beat your current score. During this phase you will get insight of where you are lacking and where you need to work upon. This will work like an injection of confidence in you. Make a fresh notebook and keep a record of mistakes done in all the test series you have attempted. 7. In last few days, revise only your short notes + formula notebook + mistake of mocks as many times as possible. Good Luck!!!
