If we consider the previous year cutoffs then you have pretty good chances of getting a seat in government college in Maharashtra with a score os 523. Many colleges had cutoff of 490+ and many had 510+ and many had a cutoff near your score. The cutoff do varies but not much every year. If you are getting a government college then why go for private college. The fees is too much in private colleges. So you can try in government colleges.
