Hi.

Online Counselling usually have a basic fundamental that the seat is allotted on a relative basis, people with lower ranks will get higher priority irrespective of your own rank (unless the rank is highest). So you need to check colleges of your interest and the course you wish to opt for which have a closing rank higher than your rank.

Example: University A has closing rank 56k for a course X and 78k for course Y and University B has closing rank 74k for course X and 94k in course Y. So you can get seat in course Y in University A and course X and Y both in University B. So depending on your interest you need to fill your own highest priority in top of your choice. If you like Course X from University B then put it in number 1 and then followed by other courses.

Remember: Fill all the choices of your interest from Highest Priority to Least Priority.

If you have a further specific query please feel free to comment.

Best of Luck.
