EWS certificate is provided to the candidates who belong to the economically weaker section of society. With EWS certificate you can avail reservation under EWS for govt. jobs or in college admission and counselling.

In JEE if you have applied as EWS candidate then you will be able to appear in the counselling process based on your EWS rank. In every college there will be limited seats reserved for EWS candidates and based on your EWS rank you can get those seats through the counselling. Even if your overall rank is high, you will have the chance to get admission in good colleges with your EWS rank. Also, there is a possibility that your course fee might get reduced. So, there are lots of benefit if you have EWS certificate.

EWS means economical weaker sections category. If your guardian income less than 8 lakh per annum then you are belongs in EWS category.

If you are getting EWS category admission then your tuition fees will be decrease. You will pay only some basic fees of college . But you didn't pay the large amount of fees.

So you are getting a rank which is mainly general category rank. You will get a rank which is below than that for your EWS category. And your marks is good  you will get good college for admission. I'll provide you a link below you can check it for which college you will get.
