There is no such concept of a free seat the higher you score the bettrr college you get. Some medical colleges however are subsidised by the government and the fees are very low. You make give a look there also the aiims os one of such institutes which offer low cost education to the students so you can try there through the aiims entrance examination.

First of all, there is no such thing called free seats. However, fee of government colleges is so low that one can call it as free seat. Now, talking about marks you should score to get a free seat. See this cutoff varies every year. However, if we follow general trends over past few years, a score of around 550 should be good to get a seat in all India quota. And, a score of around 500 should be enough to get a seat in your state via state quota.
