Among new iiits it is growing at very fast pace(related to studies, curriculum,campus,etc).

IIIT Kottayam will have same respect as other very good institute in 1 or 2 years.

It is the best college for students getting rank around 20000–25000.

Comparing Placement of IIIT Kottayam with other new iiits will give a brief idea how IIIT Kottayam stands superior among others.

2019 was the first year when IIIT Kottayam saw its first placement. Institute had good companies coming forward to recruit them. Some of them where NISSAN ,L&T, Reliance(JIO) and many more startups.

Good companies like NISSAN offered package starting from 6 Lakh to 10 Lakh.Which is brilliant when seeing the first placement year of Institute. Whereas other new iiits did not saw this type of offers in their first year. So comparing the current scenario one can expect that the placement to be as good as old nits in coming 2–3 years. It is a well deserving institute for candidates securing rank between 5000 to 15000.

Coding culture is as par with old iiits like IIIT Allahabad, Gwalior and good nits. More than 70% students clearing starting round of CODE JAM conducted by GOOGLE.

Most important point is that no other new iiits have got their permanent campus except few. But IIIT Kottayam have got its campus from 2018–2019 session, again beating other.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam is one of the 20 new iiits that has been proposed across the country by Government of India. It is a very renowned institution. It was formed in 2015. As a newcomer in this college race it has already gained good ratings. It has a 3.9 which is good. They offer various undergraduate courses, has very good and eager faculty and also has a good campus. In a nutshell, it is a very good institution when it comes to ug courses. Hope this helps.
